'AHMEA8, Dwight Shaver is the owner of the hereinafter
described property, subject to a certain cloud on the title there-
of, consisting of any rights the City of NeTnort each may have
In said property by virtue of the dedication thereof upon the map
thereof recorded in Soak 3, pages 41 and 42 of Miscellaneous Maps;
records of orange County, Calfornia, and by virtue of the effect
of a Notice by the F. D. Cornell Coucng, a coi°noration, of with-
drawal of offer of dedication of the streets, avenues, alleys or
highways as shown upon said man, said notice having been recorded
on April 29, 19202 in Book 15, page 79 of Miscellaneous Records,
Records of Orange County, California; and
'(HEREAS, the City of Nevaort Beach has heretofore
abandoned and vacated said street, the same being no longer nee-
essaay for public use; and
UmAB, it has been determined, by the City of Newport
Beach that it no longer has any interest of value in and to said
hereinafter described property; and
WH`3EA5, there has been presented to the City of Now-
port Beach a Corporation quitclaim Deed covering said property,
wherein Dwight shaver is the Wtolaimee;
NOW0 THMEFORE, BE IT IRE3t3MD, that the Mayor and the
City Clerk of the City.of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby,
authorized and directed to execute said Corporation =%claim
Deed covering all that real property in the City of Newport peas
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to
wit:
That portion of 'Pacific Drive (formerly called Electric
Nay) as shown upon the Map of "Corona Del Mar," as shown
on a Usp recorded in Book 3, pages 41 and 42 of Miscel.
laneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, and
vacated February th, 1927 by Resolution of the Board
of Trustees or said City of Newport Beach, described as
follows:
Beginning at a point in the Pouthweaterly prolongation
