The City Council of the City of Newport Reach, pursuant
to the provisions of the *Street Vacation Act of 19416, and all
amendments thereto, being Sections 83O0 through $331 of the street
and Highways Code, does hereby ordain, resolve and declare as fol-
lows:
SECTION 1: That the public interest and convenience
require the closing up and abandonment of a part of a portion of
a street in the City of "art Beach, and it is the intention of
the City Council of the City of Newport Beach to order the follow-
ing described portion of sasld street in said City of Newport Reach,
County of Orange, State of California, to be vacated., closed up
and abandoned, to wit:
Beginning at a point in the Northeasterly line of ocean
Front, said point of beginning also being the most South-
erly corner of Lot 1, Blo0 E. Seashore Colony Tract, re-
corder! in Ifteeellaneous Maps, Book 7, Page 25, records of
Orange County, California: thence Northwesterly along
said Northeasterly line of Ocean Front, thirty feet (301)
thence Southwesterly parallel to the Southwesterly pro-
longation of the Northwesterly line of said Lot 1 to an
intersection with a line fifteen feet (15'), measured at
right angles Southwesterly of and parallel to said North -
eastez+ly line of Ocean Front: thence Southeasterly along
said parallel line to an intersection with the 0outhwest-
erly prolongation of the Southeasterly line of said Lot
1: thence Northeasterly along said Southwesterly prolongs,

Said portion of said street to be vacated, closed up and
abandoned is more clearly shown on a certain man approved and adop-
ted by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach for said vaca-
tion, closing up and abandonment, by 2esolution dated September ds
1952, and designated "Resolution No.�f992 W, which said hap is
on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Newport

cars as to the proposed vacation, closing up ard abandonment of
said portion of said street, and said man is made a port of this
Resolution to the same extent and purpose as if the sane were
herein Incorporated in full.
SECTION 2: That the proceedings for the closing up and
abandonment of the aforesaid portion of said street shall be had
and taken, and the Oity Council of the City of Newport Beach here-
by eloots to proceed under the provisions of the said "Street
Vacation Act of 1941 ", and all amendments thereto, being Sections
8300 through 8331 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California.

Newport Beath shall cause to be posted conspicuously along the
line of the portion of said street prorosad to be vacated, not
more than 300 feet apart, but not less than three in all, notices
of the vacation of said portion of said street. Said notices shay.
state the preparation of this Resolution of Intention and the time
and place of the hearing of all persons Interested In or objecting
to the proposed vacation of said portion of said street.
SECTION 4: Notice is hereby given that the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach does hereby fix 'Tuesday, the 14th day
of Octo'her, 1952, at the hour of 7:30 n.M. of said day, in the
Council Chambers of the City of Newport Deach, located in the City
Hall of the City of Newport Beach, as the time and place for hear-
ing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vaca-
tion of said portion of said street; and the said City Council of
the said City of Newport Beach at said time and place will hear
the evidence offered by any *person Interested in the vacation of
said portion of said street heretofore described.
SECTION 5t This Resolution of intention shall be pub-
lished at least ones in the Newport Harbor 2tsign, a newspaper of
general circulation, printed, published and circulated in the City

date get for the baring of all persons interested in or objecting
to the proposed vacation.
