A RESOLUTIONf OF INTENTION TO ANNEX,
AND GIVING NOTICE THEREOF
WHEREAS, there is situated outside and contiguous to
the City of Newport Beach oz-"tain uninhabited areas as herein-
after more particularly described; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said parcels have expressed
themselves as desirous of having the same annexed with the City
of Newport Beach; and
WHEREAS, it would be for the best Interests ,'of the
City of Newport Beach and its citizens for the City of Newport
Beach to annex the said hereinafter described property; and
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach did, on or about
Janus" 12, 1953, submit to the Orange County Boundary Commission
a legal description and plat of said hereinafter described uniA-
habited area for its approval, pursuant to Section 35002 of the
Government Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, the approval of said Orange County Boundary
Commission has been secured;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the following declarations and no-
ties be made and given;
IT IS MITIEHY DECLARED, that proceedings have been in-
itiated by the said City of Newport Beach, a City of the 6th Class
to annex the said real property as hereinafter described, which
said real property is contiguous to the present boundaries of said
City of Newport Beach, and which property is, at the present tineo
completely uninhabited.
NOTICE IS MPEBY GIVEN THAT it is proposed by said City
of Newport Beach to annex the hereinafter described real property
to the City of Newport Beach, which said real property shall, in
these proceedings, bear the name "Irvine Terrace Annexation ".
