R93OLUTION
A RESOLUTION OF INUNTION TO ANNEX
AND GIVING NOTICE THMEOF
WHEREAS, there is situated outside and contiguous to
the City of Newport each c oertain uninhabited area as herein-
after more particularly described; and
MMREAB, the owner, of said parcel has expressed himself
as desirous of having the same annexed with the City of Newport
Beach; and
WKEREAS, it would be for the beat interests for the
City of Newport Beach and its citizens for the City of Seaport
Beach to annex the said hereinafter described property; and
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach did, on or about
April 24, 1953, submit to the Orange County 9ound,ary Commission
a legal description and plat of said hereinafter described unin-
habited area for its approval, pursuant to Section 35002 of the
Government Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, said Grange County Boundary Commission has
given its approval to the proposed annexation under date of
April 27, 1953;
NOW, TRUIEFORa, BE IT RISOLVED* by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the follmying declarations and
notice be made and givens
IT I3 HEREBY DECLARM, that proceedinge.hare been in-
itiated by the e91d City of Newport Beach, a City of the 6th
Class, to annex the said property as hereinafter described, which
said real property to contiguous to the present boundaries of
said City of Newport Beach, and. which property is, at the present
time,00mpletely uninhabited.
PiCTICE IS HEMP CIVEP that it Is propose49 by maid City
of Newport Beach to annex the hereinafter described real property
to the City of Newport :Beach, which said. real property shall, in
these proceedings, bear the name "Angel Garcia Annexation ".

the Specific description of the boundaries of the territory so
proposed to be annexed are as followst
All that certain land situated in the County of Orange,
State of California, contiguous to the City of Newport Beach,
described as follows, to -mitt
Beginning at a point in the boundary line of the City
of Newport Beach, said point being the northeast corner of Lot
12010 as shown upon a map of the First addition to Newport Mesa
Tract, recorded In Miscellaneous Map Book 8, Pap 61, records of
Orange County, California; thence, southerly along the easterly
line of said Lot 1201 to the southeast corner of said lot; thence
westerly along the southerly line of said Lot 1201 to the south-
west corner of said Lot; thence, northerly along the westerly
line of said Lot 1201 to the northwest corner of said Lots said
corner being in the boundary line of the City of Newport Beach,
thence easterly along said City.boundary line and along the
northerly line of said Lot 1201 to the point of beginning.
FURTHER NOTICR IS 1i,rjRM GIVEW, that on Monday, .lane 84
1953, at the hour of 7.30 P.9- on said day, or as soon thereafter
as the matter may be heard, at the Council Chambers of the City
Hall of the C`_ty of Newport peach, 3300 west Newport Blvd.,
Newport Beach, Californis, a. hearing will be had at which hearing
any pereontr owning ex,y real property within the boundaries of the
territory so proposed to be annexed., as described above, may ap-
pear and object to the proposed annexation and show cause, why
such territory should not be so annexed.
The above and foregaing Resolution was duly and
sassed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach, bell on the �� day of C L-=9 , 19530
by the following vote, to -wit:
