RESOLUTION OF INT1121TION NO, 402
A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE CLOSING UP,
VACATION AND ABANDONMENT OF A PORTION OF A STRE;-T DESIGNATED AS
VIA GENOA IN THC CITY OF NFWPOAT BEACH, COUNTY OF ORANOLO STATE
OF 01MIFORNIA
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach, pur-
euant to the provisions of the "Street Vacation Act of 1941",
and all amendments thereto, being Section 8300 through 8331 of
the Streets and Highways Code, does hereby ordain* resolve and
declare as followst
SEOTION It That the public interest and convenienae
require the closing up and abandonment of a part of a portion
of a street in the City of Necrport Beach, and it is the inten-
tion of the City Council of the City of Nen?port Beach to order
the following described portion of said street in said City of
Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, to be
vacated, closed up and abandoned, to -fait:
All those certain portions of Via Genoa, 100 feet in
width, of Tract No. 907, "Lido Isle", as shown on a map thereof
recorded in Book 28, Pages 25 to 36 inclusive, Miscellaneous
Naps, Aeoords of Orange County, California, described as follows,
to-:it:
Beginning ngf�a ` the most Southerly corner of Lot 9,31E of
said Tract 907 thinning thence North 290 001 East along the
Northwesterly line of said Via Genoa a distance of 410.00 feet
to the beginning; of a curve concave to the Southwest heaving a
radius of 10.00 feet, thence continuing along said line of Via
Genoa and along said curve an are distance of 13.71 feet having
a central aMle of 900 00t to a point in the southwesterly line
of Via Lido Nord 45.00 feet in width of said Tract 907, thence
South 610 001 Vast along; than Southeaetorly prolongation of said
Southwesterly line of Via Lido Nord across said Via Genoa 24.00
feet to the beginning of a curve concave to the Southwest having
a radius of 3.00 feet, thence Southeasterly along last mentioned,
curve an arc distance of 4.71 feet with a central angle of 900 001
to a point, said point is distant ;South 61 001 East 17.00 feet
from the said Northwesterly line of Via Genoa, thence South 290 0(
Wiest parallel with the said Northwesterly line of Via Genoa 417.01
feet to an intersection ;vith the ; southwesterly prolongation of tho
Southwesterly line of raid Lot 934, thence North 610 001 West alot
the last mentioned Southeasterly prolongation a distance of 17.00
feet to the point of beginning.

distance of 15.71 feet with a central angle of 900 001 to a point
In the Southwesterly line of Via Lido Nord 45600 feet in width Of
said Tract 907, thence North 610 001 nest along the Northwesterly
prolongation of the said Southwesterly line of Via Lido Nord aeroe
said Via Genoa 24.00 feet to the beginning of a curve concave to
the Southeast raving a radius of 3.00 feet, thence southwesterly
along the last mentioned curve an aro distance of 4.71 feet with
a central angle of 900 001 to a point said ?point being distant
North 610 004 West 17.00 feet from the said Southeasterly line of
Via Genoa, thence South 290 00$ West parallel with the said South-
easterly line of Via Genoa 417.00 feet to an intersection with the
Northwesterly prolongation of the Southwesterly line of said
Lot 809, thence South 61 009 East along; the last mentioned North'
westerly prolongation a distance of 17.00 feet to the point of
beginning.
Said portion of said street to be vacated, closed up
and abandoned is more clearly shown on a certain map approved
and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport beach for
said vacation, closing up and abandonment, by Resolution dated
p9ap Un 0 1933, and designated "Resolution No.. 40��81 � ,
which said Map is on file in the office of the City Clerk of
the City of Newport Beach. Reference is hereby made to said map
for further particulars as to the proposed vacation, closing up
and abandonment of said portion of said street, and said map Is
made a part of this Resolution to the same extent and purpose
as if the same were herein incorporated in full.
SECTION 2s That the proceedings for the closing up aW
abandonment of the aforesaid portion of said street shall be had
and taken, and the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of the said "street
Vacation ,pct of 19410, and all amendments thereto, being SectioAs
8300 thvough 8331 of the Streets andp{ighways Code of the State
of California.
SECTION 32 The Street Superintendent of the City of
Newport Beach shall cause to be posted conspiouously along the
line of the portion of said street proposed to. be vacated, not

more than 300 feet apart, but not less than three in all, notices
of the vacation of said portion of said street. Said notices
state the preparation of this resolution of Intention and the tim
and place of the hearing of all persons interested in or obje61JA
to the proposed vacation of said portion of said street.
SECTION 4: Notice is hereby given that the City
of the City of NeA."rt Beach

at the hour of 7:30 p.m.
of
said day, in the Council Chambers of the City of Newport Beach,
located in the City Hall of the City of Newport Beach, as the tim�
and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to
the proposed vacation of said portion of said street; and the sal
City Council of the said City of Ne =::port Beach at said time and
place win hear the evidence offered by any parson interested In
the vacation of said portion of said street heretofore described.
SECTION 5: This Resolution of Intention shall be pub•
lished at least once in the Newport Harbor 'Ensign, a newspaper of
general circulation, printed, published and circulated in the CUJ
of Newport Beach, and said publication shall be made prior to the
date set for the hearing of all persons interested in or objectlq
to the proposed vacation.
The above and foregoing Resolution of Intention
was duly passed at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Newport Beech, held on the 11th day of Ao ,
by the followings vote, to -wit:
