A RESOLUTIONS OF INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE CLOSING UPq
VACATION AND ABANDO MIh`T OF A PORTION OF A STREET DESIGNATED AS
THE OCEAN. FRONT BETIWEEN ORP344GE STREEET AhD FERN STREET IN THE
CITY OF NF, TORT BEAC:i, COUNTY OF UPAY4GLI STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach, pursuant to
the provisions of the "Street Vacation rlet of 1941 "s and all
ments theretol being Sections8300 through 8331 of the Streets
Highways Codev does hereby ordain, resolve and declare as
SECTIGN 1s That the public interest and convenience
the closing up and abandonment of a part of a portion of a stre
in the City of Newport Beachg and it is the intention of the CI
Council of the City of Newport Beach to order the following de-
scribed portion of said street in said City of Newport Beachs
County of Orange, State of California, to be vacated, closed up
and abandoned, to wits
Beginning at the most southerly corner of Lot 19
Block Hq as shown upon a map of Seashore Colony
Tract, recorded in Miscellaneous Maps Book 7,
Page 25, records of Orange Countyt California
thence northwesterly along the southwesterly
Sne
of said Lot 1 to the most westerly corner of said
lot] thence southwesterly along the southwesterly
Prolongation of the northwesterly line of said lot
to an intersection with a line being 15 feet dis-
tant from t measured at right angles and lying
parallel with the southwesterly line of said
Lot 1; thence southeasterly along said parallel
line to an intersection with-'the southwesterly
prolongation of the southeasterly line of said
Lot 1; thence northeasterly along said southwesterly
Prolongation to the point of beginning.
Said portion of said street to be vacated, closed up and
abandoned is more clearly shown on a certain map approved and
adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach for
one closing up and abandonment, by Resolution dated
"'Q , 19539 and designated "Resolution
No. 4ZA 3) "9 which said Map is on file in the office of the
City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach. Reference is hereby mad
to said trap for further particulars as to the proposed vacation,
closing up and abandonment of said portion of said streets and
said map is made a pF_rt of this iesolution to the same extent an

purpose as if the same were herein incorporated in Pull.
SECTION 2s That the proceedings for the closing up and
abandonment of the aforesaid portion of said street shall be had
and taken, and the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of the said ,Street
Vacation Act of 1941 "t and all amendments thereto~ being Sections
8300 through 8331 of the streets and Highways Code of the ztate
of California.
SECTION 3s The Street Superintendent of the City of Newport)
Beach shall cause to be posted conspicuously along the line of
the portion of said street proposed to be vacated, not more than
300 feet apartq but not less than three in slip notices of the
vacation of said portion of said street. .aid notices shall stall
the preparation of trds Resolution of Intention and the time and
place of the hearing of all persons interested in or objecting to
the proposed vacation of said portion of said street.
SECTION 4a Notice is hereby given that the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach does hereby fix 1 the a�
day of �l�c l 1953, at the tour of 7: 0 p.m. of said
day* in the Council Chambers of the City of Newport Beachq loo
in the City Ball of the City of Newport Beach) as the time and
place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the
proposed vacation of said portion of said streets and,the said

place will hear the evidence offered by any person interested in
the vacation of said portion of said street heretofore described.
SECTION 5z This Resolution of In ention shall be published
at least once in the Newport Huxbov=hheizag a newspaper of geners

port Beacly and said publication shall be made prior to the date
set for the hearing of all persons interested in or objecting to
the proposed vacation.

The above and foregoing Resolution of Intention No. 4zf3g-4
was duly passed at a regular meeting of the City council of the
City of Newport Beach, held on the air day of
1953, by the following vote, to wits

Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the records
of the City of Newport Beach filed and maintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 4134 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said
City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on the
28th day of September 19 53, by the following
vote, to wit:
