wMIREAS, the City Engineer of the city of Newport Bench
has presented to the City Ovancil of the t:ity of Newport (leach a
certain map showing all those portions of those certain alleys
1n the City of Newport Beach which the City of Newport Beaaeh pro -
poses to vacate, close up and abandon in Tract No, 772 and the
Seashore Colony Tract, and which said portions of said alleys are
described as follows, to wits
All those portions of those certain alleys ten {10
feet in width in Block 10, as shown upon a dap of .seashore Colony
Tract recorded in l,iscelianeous (flap Book 7s Page 25 and Block. if
of Tract No. 772 as recorded in Xiscellaneous leap Book 23, -rages
5 and 6, records of Orange county, Cal.ifornic, and mro particula
described as follows
Beginning at the most northerly corner
of lot 3. Block 109 of said Tract No* 772*'
thence southwesterly along the northwesterly
4ines of Lots 3, 2 and 19 of said Block lC,
and along the nor
; westerly lines of Lots $s
7s 6, 5s 49 and Lot 3s of mock 1G, of said
weashore Colony Tract, to a point 15 feet south-
westerly of the most northerly corner of said Lot 3,
thence northwesterly on a line parallel with and
distant 15 feet southwesterly from the northeast-
erly line of said Lot 3 to a point in the south-
easterly line of Lot 14 of Block 10 of said Sea-
shore Colony Tract; thence northeasterly along
the southeasterly lines of Lots 141, 13s 12 7.1,
1Cs and 9 of Block 10 of said Seashore Colony
Tracts anal along the southeasterly line of Lots
5 and 4 of Block 1C of said Tract No. 772, to the
most easterly corner of said Lot 4, thence southe
easterly in a straight line to the point of
beginning,

same is hereby, approved and the City aerk of the City of Newport
Beach is hereby ordered and directed to file the same in the pro -
ceedings for the abandonment of said portions of said alleys, and
that said map be used in connection with the Fasolution of Inten-
tion this day passed in reference to the abandonment of said por-
tions of said alleys.
The above and foregoing Resolution was duly passed and
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Newport beach, held on the q4 _ day of It 1953,
by the following vote, to wits
