RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 4171
A MOLUT10N OF INTENTION OF THE CITY CUUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
1 NEWPORT BEACH DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE CLOSING UP,
VACATION AND ABANDONMENT OF A PORTION OF A STREW DESIGNATED
AS ORANGE STREET IN THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, COUNTY OF ORANGE,
2 STATE OF CALIFORNIA.

4 The City Council of the City of Newport Beach, pursuant to
5 the provisions of the "Street Vacation Act of 1941 ", and all amend -
6 I�ments thereto, being sections 8300 through 6331 of the Streets and
Highways Code, does hereby ordain, resolve and declare as followss
7 i
8 SECTION is That the public interest and convenience require
9 the closing up and abandonment of a part of a portion of a street
10 in the City of Newport Beach, and it is the intention of the City
11 Council of the City of Newport Beach to order the following de-
12 scribed portion of said street in said City of Newport Beach,
13 ,County of Orange, State of California, to be vacated, closed up,
14 and abandoned, to wit,
15 2-8=4a8 at the most Southerly corner of Lot 19 Block H,
Seashore Colony Tract as said tract is laid out and
16 shown i9on a map recorded in Miscellaneous Maps Book 7,
Page 25, Records of Orange County, California, thence
17 southwesterly along the southwesterly prolongation of
the southeasterly line of said Lot 1 to an intersection
18 with a line lying parallel to and distant 15.00 feet
from the southwesterly line of said Lot 1 thence south -
19 easterly along the southeasterly prolongation of said
parallel line a distance of 2.5C feet, thence northeast-
20 erly in a straight line to an intersection with the
southeasterly line of said Lot 11 said point of inter -
21 section being southwesterly of and distant 15.00 feet
from the most easterly corner of said Lot 19 thence
22 southwesterly along the southeasterly line of said Lot
1, to the point of beginning.
23 Said portion of said street to be vacaited, closed up and
24 abandoned is more clearly shown on a certain map approved and
25 adopted by the City Council of the pity of Newport Beach for said
26 f vacation, closing up and abandonment, by Resolution dated November
27 ` 3rd, 1953, and designated "Resolution No. 4170 ", which said Map
28 is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Newport
29 Beach* Reference is hereby made to said flap for further particulars
30 s to the proposed vacation, closing up and abandonment of said
31 jortion of said street, and said map is made a part of this Reso-
32 ution to the same extent and purpose as if the same were herein

incorporated in full.
:;SCTIQN 2s That the proceedings for the closing up and
abandoroent of the aforesaid portion of said street shall be had
and taken, and the City couneU of the City of Eewport lscach
hereby sleets to proceed under the provisions of the said "Street
Vacation Act of 191+1 "9 and all amendments tneratos being :Sections
83CO through 13331 of the streets and 3iighways Code of the State
of California,
6NCTIUN 3s The ;street Superintendent of the City of iewport
Beach shall cause to be posted conspicuously along the line of
the portion of said street proposed to be vacated, not wire than
300 feet apart, but not less than three in all, notices of the
vacation of said portion of said street. ::aid notices small state
the preparation of this Resolution of Intention and the time and
place of the hearing of all persons interested in or objecting to
the proposed vacation of said portion of said street.

ing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation
of said portion of said street; and the said Cite +ouncil of the
said City of Newport Beach at said title and place will hear the
evidence offered by any person interested in the vacation of said
of said street heretofore described.
SECTION 5s This Resolution of intention shall be published
at least once in the Newport- Balboa cress, a newspaper of general
circulation, printed, published and circulated in the Lity of New-
Beach, and said publication shall be made prior to the date
set for the hearing of all persons interested in or objecting to
the proposed vacation..
