WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City of Newport.
Beach a Grant Deed of Easement by H. Lynne Hughes and-Gladys K.
Hughes, husband and wife, the same being dated December 1y 1953,
and covering the following described property situated ''the Cit;
of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, to wit.
A right of way.er easement being 1Oe00 feet in width
over a portion of.Lot 8 and Lot 10, Block 431, Corona del Mar
Tract as said Tract is laid out and shown upon a map recorded L
Miscellaneous Ma0*9 Book 39 Pages 41 and 429 Records of Orange
County, California, for the purpose of erection, layIng and con-
struction of a pipe line to convey storm hater with-'the right of
going in, under and over.the property hereinafter described, for
the purpose of repairing, maintaining, and replacing said pipe li,
in, over and under that certain real property being 5.00 feet on
each side of the following'described center line to wits
Beginning at- e_point in the southeasterly
lot lime of Lot 10of said Block 431 said point
being north 400 east and distant 5 #09 feet from
the most southerly corner of said Lot 10; thence
south 870 33' 50,, east, a distance of 7.50 feet
to an intersection with the southwesterly lot
line of said Lot 10, said point of intersection
being 5.53 feet distant from the most southerly
corner of said Lot 10- thence south 870 33' 50"
west a distance of 7. 040 feet-- thence south 630
29' 55" west a distance of .26 feet to an in-
tersection with the southwesterly lot line of
Lot 8, said point of .intersection being 21.87
feet distant from the most southerly corner of
said Lot 8.
AND, WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interests of
citizens of the City of Newport Beach to accept said Grant Deed
Lasement;
NUW, THEREFURE, BS IT RESOLYEDS that the said Grant Deed
Easement hereinbefore referred to and covering the said herein-
above described real property, is accepted acid approved by the Cii
of Newport Beach and is hereby ordered recorded.
The above and foregoing Resolution was duly passed and
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach, held on the o2J r< day of et� v , 194;
by the following vote, to wits .
