The City Council of the City of Newport Duach, pursuant to
the provisions of the "Street vacation Act of 1941 "s and all amend-
iments thereto, being Sections 83CO through 8331 of the Streets and
Highways Codes does hereby ordains resolve and declare as followas
SUCTION 1: That the public interest and convenience require
the closing up and abandonment of a part of a portion of a street
In the City of Newport Beach, and it is the intention of the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach to order the following de-
scribed portion of said street in said City of Newport Beach,
County of Orange, State of California, to be vacated, closed up,
and abandoned, to wits
A portion of Old County Road, fifty (50) feet in width,
as shown upon a map of Tract No, 27 recorded in Miscellaneous Maps
Hook 9s Page 26, Records of Orange County, California, and more
particularly described as followsa
Beginning at the most southerly corner of
Lot 4 Block 1, as shown upon a map of said Tract
No. A thence northwesterly along the southwesterly
line ok said Lot 4 and its northwesterly prolongation
and along the southwesterly line of Lot 1 of said
Block 1 to the most westerly corner of said Lot 1;
thence southwesterly along the southwesterly pro-
longation of the northwesterly line of said Lot 1
to an intersection with the northeasterly prolonga-
tion of the northwesterlyy jine of Lot 1 as shown
upon a map of Tract No. 464, recorded in Miscellaneous
Maps Book 32s Page 1; thence southwesterly along said
northeasterly prolongation to the most northerly cor-
ner of said Lot 1; thence southeasterly along the
northeasterly line of said Lot 1 of Tract No. 464 to
an intersection with the southwesterly prolongation
of the southeasterly line of the aforementioned Lot
4 Block 1 of Tract No, 27; thence northeasterly
tong the last mentioned southwesterly prolongation
to the point of beginning.
Said portion of said street to be vacated, closed up and
abandoned is more clearly shown on a certain map approved and
adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach for said
vacation, closing up and abandonmenti,by Resolution dated the /91f
day of , 1954, and designated "Resolution No. "

further particulars as to the proposed vacations.closing up and
