RESOLUTION NO. 4a
A RESOLUTION APPROVING MAP SHOWING THAT
CERTAIN ALLEY IN THE CITY OF yE.;i•OBT BEACH
WHICH IS PROPOSED TO BE VACATED, CLOSED UP
AND ABAN6DUN ED.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Newport Beach
has presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach a
certain map showing a certain alley which the City of Newport
Beach proposes to vacate, close up and abandon in the City of
Newport Beach and which certain alley is described as followsq .
to wit:
All of that certain alley being twenty feet in width as
shown upon a map of Tract No. 1133 recorded in Miscellaneous Maps
Book 369 Pages 13 and 14, Records of Orange County t California,
and being more particularly described as follows, to Witt
Beginning at the most easterly corner of
Lot 9 of said Tract No, 1133; thence south-
easterly along the southeasterly prolongation
of the northeasterly line of said Lot 9 to the
most northerly corner of Lot 10 of said Tract
No, 1133; thence southwesterly along the north-
westerly line of said Lot 10 to the most west-
erly corner of said Lot 10; thence northwesterly
along the northwesterly prolongation of the
southwesterly line of said Lot 10 to the most
southerly corner of Lot 7 of said Tract No, 1133;
thence northeasterly along the southeasterly lines
of Lots 71 8, and 9 of said Tract No. 1133 to the
point of beginning; and,
Reserving an easement for public utilities
for the purpose of erection, laying, and con-
structing pipe lines with the right of going in,
over, and under the twenty foot alley heretofore
described for the purpose of repairing, maintain-
ing, and replacing said pipe lines in, over, and
under, that certain twenty foot alley heretofore
described,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT BF,5OLVEL, that said Map be, and the
Isame is hereby, approved and the City Clerk of the City of Newport
Beach is hereby ordered and directed to file the same in the pro-
ceedings for the abandonment of said alley and that said nap be
(used in connection with the Resolution of Intention this day passed
Ilin reference to the abandonment of said alley.
The above and foregoing Resolution was duly passed and
Iladopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of

4277 was duly and regularly adopted, passed, and
approved by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City
Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
