1 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1 �

3 WHEREAS, the present access to the Corona del Naar
4 State Beach in the City of Newport Beach has become inadequate;
5 and
6 WHEREAS, the public interest and convenience requires
7 that an additional city street be opened for access to the Corona
8 del Mar State Beach in the City of Newport Beach to alleviate the
9 present and future traffic congestion in this area of the city;
10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council
11 of Newport Beach, declare its intention that the following describe
12 property be designated as Breakers Drive and be made a city street:
13 Parcel I. A portion of Block A -34 as shown upon a map
14 of Corona del Mar, recorded in Miscellaneous Maps Book 3, Pages 4<
15 and 42, Records of Orange County, California, and more particularly
16 described as follows:
17 Beginning at the most easterly corner of said Block A -34
18 thence north 760 02' 22" west along the northerly line of said
19 Block A -34, a distance of 139.05 feet to the most easterly corner
20 of that certain parcel of land described in deed recorded
21 November 17, 1948 in Deed Book 1761, page 201, Official Records
22 of said Orange County; thence south 390 551 45" west along the
23 southeasterly line of said parcel, a distance of 58.17 feet; thence
24 south 140 48' 51" east a distance of 79.60 feet; thence south
25 50° 04° 15" east a distance of 60 feet to an intersection with
26 the southeasterly line of said Block A -34; thence north 390 55' 45"
27 east along said southeasterly line and distance of 165' to the
28 point of beginning.
29 Parcel Il. A portion of Block A -34 as shown on a map
30 of Corona del Mar, recorded in Miscellaneous Maps Book 3, Pages 41
31 and 42, records of Orange County, California and more particularly
32 described as follows:

Beginning at the most easterly corner of that certain
parcel of land described in deed recorded November 17, 1948 in
Deed Book 1761, page 201, Official Records of said Orange County;
said point of beginning also being the most northerly corner of
Parcel I, described herein; thence north 760 021 22" west along
the northerly line of said Block A -34 a distance of 12.96 feet to
the beginning of a curve tangent to last mentioned course, concave
to the north and having a radius of 90 feet; thence continuing
northwesterly along said northerly line and along said curve a
distance of 52.25 feet; thence south 140 48° 51" east a distance
of 76.54 feet to an intersection with the southeasterly of that
certain parcel of land described in said deed recorded in Deed
Book 1761, page 201' thence north 390 55' 45" east a distance of
58.17 feet to the point of beginning.
Parcel III: All of Lots 21, 220 23 and 24-ar- that
portion of the vacated alley, 14 feet in width, adjacent thereto,
as shown upon a map of Corona del Mar, recorded in miscellaneous
Maps, Book.3, Pages 41 and 42, Records of Orange County, California
Parcel IV: All that portion of Heliotrope Avenue formerly
(34th Avenue) as shown upon a map of Corona del Mar, recorded in
WUscellaneous Maps Book 3, Pages 41 and 42 and more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at most westerly corner of Lot 22 of Block A -35
as shown upon said map of corona del Mar; thence northeasterly alon
the southeasterly line of said Heliotrope Avenue to the most
northerly corner of Lot 24 of said Block A -35; thence northerly in
a straight line to the most easterly corner of Block A -34 as
shown upon said map of Corona del Mar; thence southwesterly along
the northwesterly line of said Heliotrope Avenue, a distance of 165
feet; thence southeasterly in a straight line to the point of
beginning,
The above and foregoing resolution was duly and
