22 Annexation" as to definiteness' and certainty; .
23 NOW, TEWUWOREs BE IT RE;SOLVM that the City Council of
24.0ity of Newport Beach does hereby consent to the commencement of
26 (annexation proceedings with said inhabited territory in accordance
28 with the Annexation Act of 1913, provided that the petition for
27 annexation contains a request that the question to be submitted to
28 the electors residing in the territory proposed to be annexed shall
29 be whether the territory shall be annexed and tho property in the
30 territory subjected to taxation after annexation equally with
31 roperty within the City of Newport Beach to pay the bonded indebt-
.32 edness of the City of Newport Beach outstanding or authorized at the

NEWPORT BEACH COUSENTINTO TO THE COD`UUM MENT OF

ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEXATION TO THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH CERTAIN INHABITED TERRITORY,
MOWN AS THE "SEAQUIST ANNEXATION" UNDER THE PRO -

VISIONS OF THE ANNEXATION ACT OF 1913.

WHEREAS, William W. Seaquist and others have petitioned

the City of Newport Beach for its consent to the annexation of
8
certain property generally bounded by Tustin Avenge and Irvine
9
Avenue and Fifteenth Street and Sixteenth Street in the County of
10
Orange, State of California, contiguous to the present city
11
boundaries of the City of Newport Beach, under the Annexation Act
12
of 1913; and.
13
WHEREAS, said petition was referred to the Planning
14
Commission of the City of Newport Beach for investigation, report
15
and recommendation; and
16
WHEREAS, the Planning Cowdssion of the City of Newport
17 eh rendered its report and recommendation to the City Council

acquisition, construction or completion of municipal improvemmts;
and hereby .Further consents that the proponents of said annexa-
tion shall proceed with the steps necessary under said Annexation
Act of 1913; and
BE IT FUHTMM IMOLVED that said inhabited and unin-
corporated territory be and it is hereby designated as "the
"Seaquist Annex" which in described as follows:

westerly prolongation of the southeasterly line of 'Tustin Avenue,
60 feet in width and the center line of 15th Street, -6O feet in
width, as shown upon a asap of Newport Heights,, recorded in

California.; thence northeasterly- along the said southeasterly..
line of Tustin Avenue to an intersection with the southwesterly
line of 36th Street, 60 feat in width, as shown upon aaid map of
Newport Heights; thence southeasterly along the said southwester,
line of 16th. Street and its southeasterly prolongation to its
intersection with the southeasterly line of Irvine Avenue, 60 re
in width, as shown upon said m p of Newport Heights, said point
of Intersection being an angle point in the boundary line of the
City of Newport Beach; thence southwesterly along said southeaster
line of Irvine Avenue and its southwesterly prolongation and
along said City, boundary line to its intersection with the center
line of the aforementioned 15th Street; thence northwesterly
along the said center line of 15th Street and along said City
boundary line to its intersection with the southwesterly pro.
