NOW, THEREFORE, BB IT RESOLVED, that the City Council
of Newport Beach recognizes by the adoption of this policy a
committee composed of one representativN from each.city and f: ri
the County of Qrange to be called the City - County Cooperative
Highway Committee. This committed Is formed to consIdar mutuHi
highway and street - problems.
It is understood. by adopting this policy that the City
Council of Newport Beach is not to be obligated by said committee:
recommendations. It is further agreed that no highway or strc t.
agreements will be made by members of the committee until such
agreements have been considered by the City - County Highway Ccm-
m1ttee.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Engineer or his
assistant be authorized by the City Council of Newport Beach
represent the City of Newport Beach as a.member of the City -Cuwo'
Cooperative Highway Committee.
