WHEREAS, the C,Lty of tvewport Beach has for a period or
tiscto attmptsd do acquire eaaewnts for sewer pipe liner across
certain real 'property as hereinafter described; and
t'# AS, the City of Newport Beach has been unable to
obtain the aforesaid easements by agreement:; and
WHEREAS, the said earse ento are for the benefit, safety
and health of the citisens of Newport Beach;',
Now, therefore, be it resolved, that the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach does hereby find. aiA determine that
p.sblic interest, aafety, haal4h and neaeselty Irequire the

acquisition by the City of liewport Beach of the hereinafter
described real property for easements for sewer pipelines* and
said City Cowiell does further rind and detorstirs that the
acquisition of said real property is ,necessary for that creation
of the aforesaid eaasawntts; and
BS 1T F:TRTi3M RESOLVED that acn action, shall be brought
by the City of Newport Beach to acquire said easements by
condemnation for use for Bever pure lines, and the City Attorney
of Newport Beach is hereby authorized at4 directed to institute
prucee(MW in eminent domain to obtain the aforesaid easements.
The description of the real Swo,^.erty required for
sower easessents and the owners of said property are particularly
set forth in Exhibit "A ", which is attached hereto arid'mads a
part hereon.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach at a regular meeticz thereof hold on the 22nd dal
of August, 1955, by the following notes to wits
