provides that the general municipal electi ?n for the election
of officers and for such other purposes as the City Council may
prescribe shall be held in the City on the second Tuesday in
April in each ever: numbered year;

cipal election is hereby called for tae 10th day of April, 1956.
BE IT PUPTtiLh IiNZOLVL.i:: That in accordance with
Section 1000 of the Charter of the City of tewport Beach, the
City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and she is hereby
authorized and directed to take all steps necessary for tl.e
calling and holding of the said general municipal election.
She above and foregoing Resolution No. 4430 was duly
passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach at a regular meeting thereof tzeld on the 23d day of
January, 1956, by the following roll call vote, to wits
