RESOLUTION NO. 4/S7j 3
WAS, the County of Orange in 1950 instituted a suit
against the City of Newport Beach in the Superior Court of the
State of California in and for the County of Orange, Cae1415,
the purpose of which was to quiet title to certain property in t
City of Newport Beach; and
WH8RU80the City of Newport Beach on December 27, 195w.-;
deeded to the State of California, by a quit olaim deed, all or
their right, title and interest to a portion of the real property
affected by the aforesaid action by the County of Orange, Case
#54415, and which is more particularly described as followrs,
to wits
PARCM 1:. Those portions of Block 1 of Irvine's
Subdivision in the City of Newport Beach, County of
Csatsge, State of California, as per mop recorded In
Book 1, page 88 of Biecellaneous ors, in the office
of the County.Recorder of Said'County and of the east
half of Section, 28, T. 6.8., R. 10 W., of the San
Bernardino meridian according to an official plat of
said land filed August 4, 1890 in the district land
office, described as foilowet
Beginning at U.S. Sulldsead Station No. 227 as shown
an a map dated March 20, 1936, Pile No. 958, on file
In the U.S. Ragineerls Office, Los Angeles, California,
entitled "Barber Limes .Newport Boy Harbor, California";

of Case #5441 covering the above described real prapertg; and
CAB, the City of Newport Beach has been requested by
the Title Insurance & Trust Conpany of Los Angeles to execute.a
partial dismissal as to the aforesaid described real property;
