RESOLUTION NO. yS 1 1
WHEREAS, the City Attorney of the City of Newport Beach
has heretofore been instructed by the City Council to draft an
amendment to that catain agreement dated March 26, 1956 by and
between the City of Newport Beach and South Coast Construction
Company to allow the South Coast Construction Company an
extension of time until July 14, 1956 to complete the improve -
ments as set forth in said agreement of March 26, 1956; and
WHEREAS, the City Council further authorized the City
Attorney to set forth in said amendment a waiver of all
penalties due, to and including July 14, 1956, as set forth in
the first paragraph of paragraph (e) of Section 6 of the
specifications which are a part of said agreement of March 26,
1956;
NOW, THEREFORE$ BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the
City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to
execute said Amendment to Agreement on behalf of the City.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City.
