RESOLUTION NO. rIS— 6
WHERUSO there has been presented to the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach a Certain renewal of lea" between
the Lido Isle Commnity Association and the City of Newport
fore considered the tome and conditions of said renewal of lease
and that said terms and conditions are reasonable and are for
the benefit of than citizens of the City of Newport Beach.
NOVO TlhEWMEO BE IT RESOLVED, that the War and
the City Clerk be, and they arm hereby, authorised sea! directed
to emoute said renewal of lease in the name of atfd for and on
behalf of the City of NeW*rt Beach.

regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach at a regular (meeting thereof hs14 on the 8th day
of October, 1956, by the following roll call vote, to wits

THIS RENEWAL OF LEASE, made and entered into this
day of () , 1956, by and between the LIDO ISLE
COMMMITY ASSOCIATION, hereinafter referred to as "Lessor" and
the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, a municipal corporation, hereinafter
referred to as "Lessee%
W I T N E S 3 9 T H:
WHEREAS, the parties hereto have heretofore entered
Into a lease dated the 12th day of April, 1955 wherein Lessee
leased certain property from the Lessor; and
WHEREAS, the above lease expired as of the 11th day of
Aprii, 1956; and
WH$RF..AS, the parties hereto are now desirous of renewing)
said lease for a further period of one year;
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of their mutual
promises and of the covenants and conditions to be kept by
each as net out in said above mentioned original Lease between
the parties hereto, it is agreed as follows:
(1) That all of the terms and conditions of said
original Lease, dated the 12th day of April, 1955, be and they
are hereby, incorporated herein as though set out in lull herein,
and the parties hereto agree to be bound by all of the terms and
of one year
conditions of said original lease for a period/from the 12th day
of April, 1956 to the _llth day of April, 1957.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City of Newport Beach, by
resolution of its City Councils dated the 8th day of October,
1956, authorized and directed its corporate name to be signed
and its corporate seal to be affixed by the Mayor and City Clerk
of the City of Newport Beach thereunto duly authorized, and the
Lessor herein set is name by its duly authorized representative
