RESOLUTION NO. 4933
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEINTPORT BEACH ACCEPTING AN INDENTURE GRANTING
REAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY
11HEREAS, there has been delivered to the City of Newport
Beach an indenture dated October 1, 1958, in which the Southern
Pacific Company, a corporation of the State of Delaware, grants
to the City of Newport Beach, a municipal corporation, land
between Newport and Balboa Boulevards at the intersection of 23rd
Street in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of
California, in Section 33, Township 6 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B.
& M., being those portions of that certain 100-foot strip of land
described in deed to Pacific Electric Railway Company, recorded in
Book 785, Page 457 of Official Records, in the office of the
Recorder of said County, described as follows:

All that portion of said 100 -foot strip lying
southerly of the northeasterly prolongation of the
southeasterly line of 23rd Street (50 feet wide) as
shown upon Map of Newport Beach recorded in Book 3,
Page 26 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the
Recorder of said County.
PARCEL 2:
A triangular shaped parcel of land lying within
the following described lines:
BEGINNING at the intersection of the northeast-
erly prolongation of the northwesterly line of 23rd
Street (50 feet wide) as shown upon Map of Newport Beach,
recorded in Book 3, Page 26 of Miscellaneous Maps, in
the office of the Recorder of said County, with the
southwesterly line of said 100 -foot strip; thence north -
westerly along said southwesterly line 101.25 feet to
a point; thence southeasterly in a direct line to a
point in said northeasterly prolongation, distant 20 feet
northeasterly, along said prolongation, from the point of
beginnings thence southwesterly, along said prolongation
20 feet to said point of beginning;
WH R'CAS, said indenture is in accordance with the agree-
to purchase said property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said indenture be

accepted by the City of Newport Beach.
BE IT FURTHLR RESOLVED that the City Council hereby
consents to its being recorded and the City Attorney is authorized
and directed to forward it to the Title Insurance and Trust Company
under their escrow No, 263712 and to take necessary steps to
complete the transfer of title.
This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 24th day of
February, 1959, by the following vote, to wit: po p

of the City of Newport Beach filed and maintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 4933 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 24th day of February 9 1959, by the following
vote, to wit:
