A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH. ADOPTING MAPS SHOWING PORTIONS
OF A CERTAIN STREET KNOWN AS OCEAN FRONT WHICH
ARE PROPOSED TO BE.VACATED, CLOSED UP AND
ABANDONED
WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Newport Beach
has presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
certain maps entitled "Map Showing Portion of Ocean Front to be
Vacated, Block F, Lot 6, Seashore Colony Tract ", Drawing No. L-
dated March 5, 1959, and "Map Showing Portion of Ocean Front to be
Vacated, Block B, Lot 4, Seashore Colony Tract ", Drawing No. L -2743
dated March 5, 1959, respectively, showing portions of said Ocean
Front in the City of Newport Beach which the City is considering
vacating, closing up and abandoning and which portions are more
particularly described as follows:
Portions of that certain street, Ocean Front, in the
Seashore Colony Tract as said Ocean Front is laid out and
shown upon a map recorded in Miscellaneous Map Book 7,
page 25, Records of Orange County, California, and more
particularly described as follows, to -wit;
Beginning at the most southerly corner of Lot No. 6,
Block F of Seashore Colony Tract as said tract is shown
upon a map recorded in Miscellaneous Map Book 7, page 25,
records of Orange County, California; thence northwesterly
along the southwesterly line of said lot No. 6 to the most
westerly corner of said Lot No. 6; thence southwesterly
along the southwesterly prolongation to the northwesterly
line of said Lot No. 6 to an intersection with a line lying
southwesterly of, parallel to, and distant 15 feet from the
southwesterly line of said Lot No. 6; thence southeasterly
along said parallel line to an intersection with the south-
westerly prolongation of the southeasterly line of said
Lot No. 6; thence northeasterly along said southwesterly
prolongation to the point of beginning; and
Beginning at the most southerly corner of Lot No. 4,
Block B of Seashore Colony Tract as said tract is shown
upon a map recorded in Miscellaneous Map Book 7, page 25,
records of Orange County,California; thence northwesterly
along the southwesterly line of said Lot No. 4 to the most
westerly corner of said Lot No. 4; thence southwesterly
along the southwesterly prolongation to the northwesterly
line of said Lot No. 4 to an intersection with a line lying
southwesterly.of, parallel to, and distant 15 feet from the
southwesterly line of said Lot No, 4; thence southeasterly
along said parallel line to.an intersection with the south-
westerly prolongation of the southeasterly line of said Lot
No. 4; thence northeasterly along said southwesterly pro-
longation to the point of beginning.

NOVI, THEREFOR;, BE IT RESOLVED that said maps be and are
hereby approved and adopted, and the City Clerk is ordered and
directed to file the same in the proceedings for the abandonment
of said portions of said street.
This Resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 23rd day of
March, 1959, by the following vote, to wit:

Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the records
of the City of Newport Beach filed and iaaintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 4954 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 23d day of March 1 19592 by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Hart, Lorenz, Somers, Kingsley,
Atkinson, Higbie, Stoddard
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN:None
