A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN

AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE BRADLEY COMPANY AND THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF

IMPROVII MTS IN TRACT NO. 1896.

idHl?,TtEA5, there has been presented to the City Council of the City of
7
Newport Beach an agreement wherein THE BRADLEY CCMFANY, subdivider of Tract No.
8
1896, guarantees to the City of Newport Beach that it will construct street and
9
other public improvements whithin and such as are necessary to serve said sub-
10
division, to wit: water lines, sewer system, underground utilities, grading,
11
street lighting system, installation of base material, asphalt plant mix and prime
12
coat,.sidewalks, street trees and any other improvements necessary to serve said
13
subdivision as apprsved by the City Engineer; and
14
WHEREAS, in accordance with said agreement THE BRADLEY COMPANY. has filed
15
a letter of credit with the City to assure faithful performance of said agreement;
16
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said agreement between THE BRADLEY
17
COMPANY and the City of Newport Beach in which THE BRADLEY COMPANY agrees to
18
construct the improvements in Tract No. 1896 and said letter of credit be approved
19
and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to 'execute the
20
same on behalf of'the City of Newport Beach At such time as said letter of credit
21
is approved by the City Manager as to sufficiency and the City Attorney as to form,

This Resolution was adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport
23
each at a regulaR meeting on the 2d .day ofrch,.1959, by the following
24

I, MARGERY SCHROUDER, City Clerk of the City of Newport
Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the records
of the City of Newport Beach filed and waintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 4956 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 23d day of March f 1959, by the following
vote, to wit:
