A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING A MAP SHOWING PORTIONS
OF A CERTAIN STREET KNOWN AS BALBOA BOULEVARD
WHICH ARE PROPOSED, TO BE VACATED, CLOSED UP AND
ABANDONED
WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Newport Beach
has presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach a
certain map entitled "Vacation North Side of Balboa Blvd. between
'C" St. & 111 St.',' Drawing No. 19 -2775, dated April 21, 1959,
showing portions of said Balboa Boulevard between "C" Street and
Street in the City of Newport Beach which the City is consider-
ing vacating, closing up and abandoning and which portions are more
particularly described as follows:
Parcel 1:
A strip of land six feet wide extending between the south-
westerly prolongation of the northwesterly line of Lot 1,
Block 17, East Side Addition to the Balboa Tract recorded
in Miscellaneous Map Book 4, Page 20, Records of Orange
County, California, and the southwesterly prolongation of
the southeasterly line of Lot 18, said Block 17, and
adjacent to and southwesterly of the southwesterly line
of said Block 17,
Parcel 2:
A strip of land six feet wide extending between the south-
westerly prolongation of the northwesterly line of Lot 1,
Block 19, East Side Addition to the Balboa Tract recorded
in Miscellaneous Map Book 4, Page 20, Records of Orange
County, California, and the southwesterly prolongation of
the southeasterly line of Lot 12, said Block 19, and
adjacent to and southwesterly of the southwesterly line
of said Block 19.

A strip of land six feet wide extending between the south-
westerly prolongation of the northwesterly line of Lot 1,
Block 21, East Side Addition to the Balboa Tract recorded
in Miscellaneous Map Book 4, Page 20, Recordsof Orange
County, California, and the southeasterly prolongation of
the northeasterly line of Lot 14, said Block 21, and
adjacent to and southwesterly of the southwesterly line
of said Block 21.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said map be and is
hereby approved and adopted, and the City Clerk is ordered and

directed to file the same in the proceedings for the abandonment
of said portions of said street.
This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 27th day of
April, 1959, by the following vote, to wit:

Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the records
of the City of Newport Beach filed and maintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 4979 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 27th day of April 1 1959, by the following
vote, to wit:
