• 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A
• 3 SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH PACIFIC ELECTRIC
RAILWAY COMPANY

5 WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach and the Pacific
6 Electric Railway Company entered into a license agreement dated
7 January 9, 1959, identified as Lease No. 16828, by which the City
8 was granted permission for pipeline crossing and longitudinal
9 occupation of a certain right of way of the railway company; and
10 WHEREAS, said Pacific Electric Railway Company has now
11 presented to the City Council a Supplemental Agreement amending
12 said license agreement for the purpose of reducing the considera-
13 tion for the license to $1.00 per annum;
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
15 Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Supple -
16 mental Agreement on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
17 This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
1811 City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 22nd day of June,
19 1959, by the following vote, to wit:
20 l AYES, COUNCILMEN: Kingsley, Atkinson,
21 Higbie, Stoddard, Hart, Lorenz, Somers
22 NOES, COUNCILMEN: None

said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
