2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH CHANGING THE NAME OF BAYSIDE
• 3 DRIVE BETWEEN PALISADES ROAD AND THE INTER-
SECTION OF BAYSIDE DRIVE WITH JAMBOREE ROAD
4, TO "JAMBOREE ROAD"

WHEREAS, the portion of Bayside Drive
between
Palisades

Road and the intersection of Bayside Drive with
Jamboree
Road is
8 a natural extension of Jamboree Road; and
9 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City after a
10 hearing on the subject has recommended the name of this portion
11 of Bayside Drive be changed to "Jamboree Road "; and
12 WHEREAS, after consideration of the recommendation, it
13 appears that it would be in the interests of the City and more
14 convenient to the public to change said street name;
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
16 City of Newport Beach that the name of that portion of Bayside
17
Drive
between
Palisades Road
and
the intersection of Bayside Drive

with
Jamboree
Road be changed
to
"Jamboree Road ",
19 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED.that the City Clerk is directed to
20 forward a certified copy of this resolution to the Board of Super -
21 visors of Orange County in accordance with the provisions of Sectio,
22 34092 of the Government Code,

24 ' City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 13th day of July,
