OF NF.IPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING TIE EXECUTION OF
• 3 A QUITCLAIN DEED

5 $iH EREA5, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
6 adopted Resolution No. 4971 abandoning the street easement on the
7 following- described property in the City of Newport Beach:
8 A portion of that certain street, Ocean Front, in the
Seashore Colony Tract as said Ocean Front is laid out and
9 shown upon a map recorded in Miscellaneous Nap Book 7,
page 25, Records of Orange County, California, and more
10 particularly described as follows, to -wit:

Beginning at the most southerly comer of Lot No,
4, Block B of Seashore Colony Tract as said tract
12
is shown upon a, map recorded in miscellaneous Map
Book 7, Page 25, Records of Orange County, Cali-
13
fornia; thence northwesterly along the southwest-
erly line of said Lot No. 4 to the most westerly
14
corner of said Lot No. 4; thence southwesterly
along the southwesterly prolongation of the north-
15
westerly line of said Lot No. 4 to an intersection
with a line lying southwesterly of, parallel to,
16
and distant 15 feet from the southwesterly line of
said Lot No. 4; thence southeasterly along said
17
parallel line to an intersection with the south-
westerly prolongation of the southeasterly line
18
of said Lot No. 4; thence northeasterly along
said southwesterly prolongation to the point of
19
beginning;

P REAS, Ruth H. Willett, the owner of the abutting
22
property consisting of Lot 4, Block B. of Seashore-Colony Tract,
23
conveyed to the City of Newport Beach the northeasterly 15 feet of
24
said Lot 4 for the extension of a public alley; and

WEREAS, said owner has requested that the City of
26
Newport Beach execute a quitclaim deed to her releasing any intere;
27
it may have in that portion of Ocean Front described above vacated

by said resolution; and

Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said quitclaim
deed releasing to Ruth H. Willett any right, title or interest the
City of Newport Beach may have in the aforesaid property.
This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 28th day of
September, 1959, by the following vote, to wit:

of the City of Newport Beach filed and ;maintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 5093 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 28th day of September f 19599 by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Kingsley, Atkinson, Higbie, Stoddard,
Hart, Lorenz, Somers
