9 recorded in Hiscellaneous_Maps, Book 4, page 25, records of
Orange County, California and a portion of Section 29,
10 Township 6 South, Range 16 West, of the San Bernardino
Meridian, according to an official plat of said land filed
11 in the District Land Office, August 4, 1890, and more
particularly described as.follows, to wit;

Beginning-at the westerly corner of said Lot 10; thence
13 northeasterly along the northwesterly line of said Lot
10 and along the northeasterly prolongation of the
14 northwesterly line of said Lot 10 to an intersection
with the line of Ordinary High Tide of the Pacific Ocean
15 in Newport Bay.designated as "SOUTH LINE ", in final.
decree entered August 22, 1928.in.Superior Court action
16 23686, a certified copy thereof being recorded September
19, 1928, in Book 201, page 253, official records of
17 said Orange County ;. thence southeasterly along said
"SOUTH LINE" to an intersection with the northeasterly
18 prolongation of the southeasterly line of the aforesaid
Lot 10; thence southwesterly along said northeasterly
19 prolongation and along the,southeasterly line of said
Lot 10 to the southerly corner of said Lot 10; thence
20 northwesterly along the southwesterly line of said Lot
21 10 to the point of beginning.
Excepting therefrom the southwesterly 119.00 feet of
22 the above described property;

24 WHEREAS, bids.Vere received by the City Council on
25 December 14,-1959, at which time Elizabeth M. Rutherford was the
26 high bidder for the purchase of said property; and
try WHEREAS, the bid of said high bidder was accepted by
• 28 the City and the property ordered sold by the City Council;
• 29 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
30 Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to execute a grant
31 deed on behalf of the City of Newport Beach granting the above
32 described real property.to said high bidder or to the person

WHEREAS, the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach

surplus City property

consisting of:
