RESOLUTION N0. S /6/
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING SCHEDULE "A" ADOPTED BY
RESOLUTION 140. 5034 AND AMENDED BY RESOLUTION NO.
5058 AND RESOLUTION NO. 5157 RELATING TO CLASSIFI-
CATION AND COMPENSATION
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5034 was adopted pursuant to
Section 2200 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code and adopted Schedules "A ",
"B" and "C" setting forth the classification and compensation plan of the
City; and
WHEREAS, Schedule "A" was amended by Resolution No. 5058
and Resolution No. 5157; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to further amend Schedule "A"
by adding the class of Plan Checker at salary range No. 35;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that effective February 8,
1960, Schedule "A" adopted by Resolution No. 5034 and amended by Resolution
No. 5058 and Resolution No. 5157 is further amended by adding the class of
Plan Checker at salary range No. 35.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, except as specifically changed,
the provisions of Schedule "A" as adopted by Resolution No. 5034 and amended
by Resolution No. 5058 and Resolution No. 5157 shall continue in full force
and effect.
This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the City
of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 8th day of February, 1960, by
the following vote, to wits

(3) Off -duty employees only.
(4) Limited to Police and Fire personnel assigned to work as policemen or firemen durin;�
their off -duty hours for private employers.
(9) Limited to Police and Lifeguard personnel occupying permanent positions.
