A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF,NEWPORT BEACH.ADOPTING PRECISE PLAN NO..5

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Newport
5
Beach by its Resolution No. 649 had recommended to the City Council
6
a certain plan for adoption as Precise Plan No. 5 of the Street and
7
Highway unit of the Master Plan, reference to which said resolution
8
being made for the particulars thereof; and

WHEREAS, the City Council had determined that the plan
11

recommended in said resolution is economically impossible for the
11
City to achieve presently and requested the Planning Commission to
12
review alternate plans for adoption as said Precise Plan No. 5;
13
and
14
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed such
15
alternate plans and by its Resolution No. 650 recommended to the
16
City Council a certain alternate plan for adoption as Precise Plan
17
No. 5 of the Street and Highway unit of the Master Plan, reference
18
to which said resolution being made for the particulars thereof;
19
and
20
WHEREAS, it is necessary from time to time to adopt
21
precise plans for the systematic'execution. of the Master Plan
22
adopted by Resolution No. 4728 of the City Council; and
23
WHEREAS,..the City Council has reviewed Drawing No. 126-
24
2931 on file in'ihe office of the City Engineer and approved the
25
realignment of Newport Boulevard between 23rd and 30th Streets in
26
accordance with Plan "C" as shown on said drawing;
27
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
"C"

City of Newport Beach that Plan as shown on Drawing No. 126 -
of

2931 on file in the office the City Engineer be adopted as
30
Precise Plan No. 5 of the Street and Highway unit of the Master
31
Plan foY the realignment of Newport Boulevard between 23rd and 30tt,
32
Streets.
ADOPTED at an adjourned regular meeting this 16th day of
