RESOLUTION NO. 5334
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH PROHIBITING OVERNIGHT PARKING
WHEREAS, Section 3292.3 of the Newport Beach Municipal
Code provides that the City Council may by resolution designate
streets or portions of streets on which overnight parking is
prohibited and the times and hours such prohibition is to apply;
and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to prohibit overnight parking
as hereinafter provided;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that effective December
30, 1960, parking shall be prohibited on Marine Avenue between
Park Avenue and North Bay Front during the following periods:
1. Each day from 10 P, M. to 6 A. M. the
following day from June 9, 1961, through the Saturday
following Labor Day of 1961.
2. From 10 P. M. Friday to 6 A. M. Saturday
and from 10 P. M. Saturday to 6 A. M. Sunday throughout
the year.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 5249 be and
is hereby repealed.

the foregoing Resolution Noe 5334 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 28th day of November, 19 60 , by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Kingsley, Atkinson, Cook, Stoddard, Hart,
Lorenz, Somers
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: None
