RESOLUTION NO. 5336
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUd'HORIZING EXECUTION OF AN INDENTURE
AND ITS ACCEPTANCE AND RECORDING
WHEREAS, there has been executed and delivered to the
City of Newport Beach an indenture dated November 19, 1960, from
Elizabeth Townsend Winckler, V. Ray Townsend, Jr., Frances Covert
Powers, Marjorie Townsend Conley, and Frances Townsend Graham, by
which they release and relinquish to the City of Newport Beach such
interest, if any, which may now or at any time in the future be
asserted or used to delay, hinder, or prevent the City from con-
structing and maintaining a public library or other buildings
normally consistent with park uses on the real property in the .
City of Newport Beach, County of Orange,,State of California, de-
scribed as.
and
Lot B, of Tract No. 919, as shown on a map recorded
in.Book 29, pages 31 - 34, of Miscellaneous Maps,
Records of Orange County, California;
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach is a party to such
indenture; and
WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to execute and
accept said indenture;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach*.
1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to execute said indenture on behalf of the City
of Newport Beach.
2. That said indenture be accepted and the City Clerk
is authorized and directed to execute and attach a certificate
• of acceptance and consent to the recording of said indenture
in the County Recorder's office.

said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
