2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH LIMITING THE PARKING OF VEHICLES
3 ON CERTAIN STREETS

5 WHEREAS, Section 3289 of the Newport Beach Municipal
6 Code provides that when authorized signs are in place giving
7 notice thereof, no person shall stop, stand, or park any vehicle
g between the hours of 8 :00 a. m, and 6 :00 p. m, of any day for
9 periods of time longer than one (1) or two (2) hours upon such
10 streets or portions thereof as the City Council shall designate
11 by resolution, and

12i V7HEREAS, it is necessary to limit the parking of
13 vehicles as hereinafter provided;
141 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that parking of vehicles
15 between the hours of 8 :00 a. m. and 6 :00 p. m. Monday through
16I Friday, except on holidays, be limited to two (2) hours on the

17 north side and south side of Laurel Place from Irvine Avenue

18i westerly approximately 520 feet to the westerly end of Laurel Pla
19 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that parking of vehicles between
20 the hours of 8:00 a. m. and 6:00 p. m. be limited to one (1) hour
21 every day, including Saturday, Sunday and holidays, Capon the
22 following streets or portions thereof:
23 1. East side of Poppy Avenue from Coast Highway
northerly 105 feet.
24 2. West and east side of Hazel Drive from Coast
25 Highway northerly 105 feet. -
26 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is author -
27 ized and directed to cause signs to be posted on such streets
28 giving notice of such parking restrictions.

regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 12th day of December 19 60, by the following
vote, to wit:

Hart, Lorenz, Somers
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
