211 A RESOLUTION OF THE.CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
3 AGREEMENT FOR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES WITH J.
HERBERT BROWNELL

WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach requires the services
of an architect in connection with the proposed addition to Fire
Station No. 5 at 410 Marigold Avenue, Corona del Mar, consisting
of a dormitory and hose tower; and
WHEREAS, J. Herbert Brownell is a licensed architect
qualified to perform the services required; and
WHEREAS, it is for the best interests of the City of
Newport Beach that a contract be entered into employing said
architect to perform such services;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute an agreement
on behalf of the City with J. Herbert Brownell for architectural
services.

said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
