RESOLUTION NO. 5585
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A.GRANT OF .EASEMENT
WHEREAS, The Irvine Company, a West Virginia corporation,
has executed a grant of easement granting to the City of Newport
Beach an easement for street and highway purposes over all the
following described real property in the City of Newport Beach,
County of Orange, State of California:
A strip of land 10.00 feet in width, lying within
Lot 151, Block 5 of Irviness Subdivision, as shown
on a map thereof, recorded in Book 1, page 88 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California, the Northeasterly line of said strip
of land being the Southwesterly line of Tract No.
4444, as shown on a map thereof, recorded in Book
156, pages 11 and 12 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of Orange County, California.
14 The Southwesterly line of said strip of land shall
be lengthened or shortened so as to terminate in
15 the Southeasterly line of Tustin Avenue, 60.00
feet.in width, and the Southwesterly prolongation
16 of the Southeasterly line of said Tract No. 4444;
17 II and
18 WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept
19 said grant'of easement for such purposes;
20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
21 the City of Newport Beach that said grant of easement be accepted
22 and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to execute and attach
23I a certificate of acceptance and consent to the recording of said
24 grant of easement in the County Recorder's office.
