RESOLUTION 140.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
WHEREAS, John B. Kilroy and Reyac Corp. have executed a
grant deed granting to the City of Newport Beach an easement for
road and highway purposes for the extension of Dana Road and Flag-
ship Road over the real property in the City of Newport Beach,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
That portion of Lot 169, Block 2 of Irvine Subdivision,
as shown on a Nap recorded in Book 1, Page 88 of Miscel-
laneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of Placentia Avenue and
Superior Avenue (formerly Newport Avenue) as shown on a
Record of Survey filed in Book 15, Page 30, of Record of
Surveys in the office of the County Recorder of Orange
County, California; thence South 220 18' 09" East along
the centerline of Placentia Avenue Extension.as deeded
to the County of Orange, recorded April 24, 1951 in Book
2180, Page 236 of Official Records, a distance of 687.93
feet; thence leaving said centerline of Placentia Avenue
North 67° 41' 5144 East 30.00 feet to the sideline of said
Placentia Avenue, being also the beginning of a curve
tangent to said sideline, concave Southeasterly and having
a radius of 25.00 feet; thence Northeasterly along said
curve through a central angle of 900 00' 00" an arc
distance of 39.27 feet to the beginning of a reverse
curve tangent, concave Northerly, and having a radius
of 426.62 feet; thence Easterly along said curve, through
a central angle of 27° 41' 51B° an arc distance of 206.23
feet to a line tangent; thence along said tangent line
North 400 00' 004° East 319.56 feet to the true point of
beginning; thence continuing North 400 00' 00 °9 East
565.50 feet to a point on a line 1.00 foot Southwesterly
and parallel to the Northwesterly prolongation of the
Southwesterly line of the land conveyed to Lesser Indus-
trial Properties, Ltd., recorded September 30, 1958 in
Book 4430 Page 409 of Official Records; thence North
500 00' 0648 West parallel to said Northwesterly prolonga-
Lion of the Southwesterly line of said land conveyed to
Lesser Industrial Properties, Ltd., 319.75 feet; thence
South 400 00' 00" West 55.00 feet; thence South 500' 00'
00" East 246.75 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve,
concave Westerly, and having a radius of 17.00 feet;
thence Southeasterly along said curve through a central
angle of 90° 00' 00' an arc distance of 26.70 feet to a
line tangent; thence South 40° 00' 00" West along said
tangent fine 493.50 feet; thence South 500 00' 0064 East
to the True Point of Beginning;
and

grant deed for such purposes;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RES0LVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that said grant deed be accepted and the
City Clerk is authorized and directed to execute and attach a
certificate of acceptance and consent to the recording of said
grant deed in the Couinty Recorder's office,
