• 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AWARIDING A CONTRACT FOR TIM CON -
3 STRUCTION OF MARINERS PARK LIBRARY

5 WHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
6 consisting of the construction of Mariners Park Library in the City
7 of Newport Beach, in accordance with the plans and specifications
8 heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 2nd day of August,
9 1962, and publicly opened and declared; and
10 0 EREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
11 therefor is Crosby Construction Co. s
12 NOt7, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of
13 Crosby Construction Co. in the amount of $79,800.00
14 be accepted and that the contract for the construction work be
15 awarded to said bidder.
16 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
17 hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
18 with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
19 of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
20 an executed copy to the successful bidder.

the foregoing Resolution Noe 5649 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 13th day of August , 19 62 , by the following
vote, to wit:

Marshall, Elder
