A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH APPOINTING ELECTION OFFICERS AND
DESIGNATING POLLING PLACES FOR THE GENERAL MUNIC-
IPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD APRIL 14, 1964
•
WHEREAS, the City Council by Resolution No. 5905 an-
nounced the general municipal election of April '14, 1964, setting
out the offices to be filled - and - certain measures to be submitted
to the qualified electors of the City of Newport Beach; and
WHEREAS, it is also necessary to appoint election officers
and designate polling places for said election;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach does hereby resolve, declare, determine, and order as follows:
For the purpose of holding said general municipal election,
there shall be 44 voting precincts within the City consisting of
either regular election precincts established for holding state or
county elections or a consolidation of some of said precincts. The
respective voting precincts, polling places of said precincts, and
the respective boards of election for said precincts are hereby
fixed, designated, appointed and established as follows:
VOTING PRECINCT 1, comprising State and County precincts
numbers 83 and 77.
The polling place shall be at the Newport Shores Club
House, 511 Canal Street, Newport Beach.
