211 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE IRVINE
3 AVENUE AND MISCELLANEOUS STREET REPAIRS

51 i WHSRS,AS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
6 consisting of the Irvine Avenue and miscellaneous street repair's
7 ;, in the City of Newport Beach, in accordance with the plans and
8 specifications heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 22nd
9i day of April, 1964, and publicly opened and declared; and
10 W'EREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
Ill therefor is S. J. Cook & Sons, Inc.;
12 N(WlJ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of S. J.
13 Cook & Sons, Inc., in the amount of $4,998.75 be accepted and that
14 the contract for the construction work be awarded to said bidder.
15 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Taayor and City Clerk are
16 hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
17 with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
18 of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
19 an executed copy to the successful bidder.
20 ADOPTED this 27th day of April, 1964.
