RESOLUTION NO. 5989
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COU14CIL OF THE CITY OF
NZI-TFORT BEACH ACCEPTING A G11ANT OF EASEMENT
IT IMAS, Newport Harbor Union High School District has
executed a grant of easement granting to the City of Newport Beach
an easement for street and highway purposes over the following
described real property in the City of Newport Beach, County of
Orange, State of California:
Parcel No. 1
A portion of Block 56 of Irvine's Subdivision,as
shown on a Map thereof, Recorded in Book. 1, page 88 of
Miscellaneous Record Maps, Records of Orange County,
California, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the most Northerly corner of the land
described in a Deed to Newport Harbor Union High
School District, Recorded May 25, 1961, in Boo';
5733, page 345 of Official Records of said Orange
County, said land also shown on a Map filed in Book
54, page 15 of Record of Surveys of said Orange
County; thence South 810 15' 08`74 West, along the
Northwesterly line of said land,.30.00 feet to the
True Point of Beginning of this description; thence
South 850 05' 53 L9est, along said Northwesterly line,
a distance of 14.03 feet to the beginning of a tangent
curve, concave Southwesterly and having a radius of
15.00 feet; thence ,Easterly and Southeasterly along
said curve through an angle of 86° 09' 1544, a
distance of 22,56 feet to a line tangent,.said line
tangent being parallel with and 30.00 feet South-
westerly of the Easterly line of said land described
in the Deed to Newport Harbor Union High School
District; thence North 80 44' 52" Best along said
line tangent 14.03 feet to the True Point of Begin-
ning of this description.

WHEREASP it is to the interest of the City to accept said
grant of easement for such purposes;
NOW, THMEFORE, BE IT HSSOLVgD that said grant of easement
is hereby accepted and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to
execute and attach thereto a certificate of acceptance and consent
to its recording and to record said easement in the County kecorder'o
office.
