A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH FIXING THE SALARY
OF THE CITY CLERK
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach has the
power and duty to establish the salary of the City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5807 established the salary of the City
Clerk beginning July 1, 1963;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that effective January 2,
1965, Resolution No. 5807 be rescinded and that the salary of the City Clerk
beginning January 2, 1965, shall be $9, 732 per fiscal year, payable in
monthly, semimonthly, or biweekly installments as is most convenient in
the ordinary course of the preparation of the City's payroll.

adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council held at the
