RESOLUTION NO. 6092
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR BALBOA
OCEAN PIER PIPE RAILING
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
consisting of Balboa Ocean Pier Pipe Railing in the City of Newport
Beach, in accordance with the plans and specifications heretofore
adopted, bids were received on the 22nd day of December, 1964, and
publicly opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is Alhambra Foundry Co., Ltd.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of Alhambra
Foundry Co., Ltd.$ in the amount of $3,473 be accepted and that the
contract for the construction work be awarded to said bidder.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 28th day of December, 1964.
