RESOLUTION NO. 6199
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT

WHEREAS, The Irvine Company, a West Virginia corporation,
has executed and delivered to the City of Newport Beach a Public
Utility Easement by which it grants to the City a non - exclusive
easement for public utility purposes in, under, along and over that
certain real property situated in the City of Newport Beach, County
of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Parcel 1
A strip of land 6.00 feet in width in Block 94
of Irvine's Subdivision as per map recorded in
Book 1, page 88 of Miscellaneous Record Maps
in the office of the County Recorder of said
county, the centerline of said strip being des-
cribed as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the centerline
of Bayside Drive, 60 feet wide„ as described in
a deed to the County of Orange recorded June 11,
1936 in Book 830, page 217 of Official Records,
with the centerline of Jamboree.Road (formerly
Marine Avenue) as described in said deed and as
said intersection is shown on a map of Tract No.
1700 recorded in Book 52, pages 7 and 8 of Mis-
cellaneous Maps; thence North 850 44' 35" West
424.12 feet along said centerline of Bayside
Drive; thence North 40 15' 25" East 47.00 feet
at right angles to said centerline to a point on
a line parallel with said centerline, said point
being the true goint of beginning; thence con-
tinuing North 4 15' 25" East 125.33 feet; thence
North 85° 44' 35" West 27.52 feet to a point
hereinafter referred to as Point "A "; thence con-
tinuing North 850 44' 35" West 209.48 feet to a
point hereinafter referred to as Point "B "; thence
South 490 15' 25" West 25.00 feet to a point
hereinafter referred to as Point "C "; thence con-
tinuing South 490 15' 25" West 61.27 feet; thence
North 850 44' 35" West 7.00 feet to a point here-
inafter referred to as Point "D "; thence continuing
North 850 44' 35" West 209.00 feet to a point
hereinafter referred to as Point "E "; thence con-
tinuing North 850 44' 35" West 126.52 feet.
Parcel 2
A strip of land 6.00 feet in width in Block 94
of Irvine's Subdivision as per map recorded in
Book 1, page 88 of Miscellaneous Record Maps
in the office of the County Recorder of said
county, the centerline of said strip being des-
cribed as follows:
Beginning at said Point "D" in above described
Parcel 1; thence South 4° 15' 25" West 64.33
feet to a line parallel with and distant North-
erly 47.00 feet, measured at right angles, from
the centerline of Bayside Drive, 60 feet wide,
as described in a deed to the County of Orange
recorded June 11, 1936 in Book 830, page 217
of Official Records.
Parcel 3
A strip of land 6.00 feet in width in Block 94
of Irvine's Subdivision as per.map recorded in
Book 1, page 88 of Miscellaneous Record Maps
in the office of the County Recorder of said
county, the centerline of said strip being des -
cribed as follows:
Beginning at said Point "E" in above described
Parcel 1; thence South V 15' 25" West 64.33
feet to a line parallel.with and distant North-
erly 47.00 feet, measured at right angles, from
the centerline of Bayside Drive, 60 feet wide,
as described in a deed to the County of Orange
recorded June 11, 1936 in Book 830, page 217
of Official Records.
Parcel 4
A strip of land 10.00 feet in width in Block 94
of Irvine's Subdivision as per map recorded in
Book 1, page 88 of Miscellaneous Record Maps in
the office of the County Recorder of said county,
the Northerly line of said strip of land being paral-
lel with and distant Northerly 13.00 feet measured
at right angles from the following described line:

A strip of land 10.00 feet in width in Block 94
of Irvine's Subdivision as per map recorded in

the centerline of said strip being described as
follows;
Beginning at said Point "C" in above described
Parcel 1; thence North 40° 44' 35" West 45.00 feet.
Parcel 6
A strip of land 6.00 feet in width in Block 94
of Irvine's Subdivision as per map recorded in
Book 1, page 88 of Miscellaneous Record Maps
in the office of the County Recorder of said
county, the centerline of said strip being des-
cribed as follows:

Commencing at the true point of beginning of "
above described Parcel 1; thence North 850 44'
35" West 6.00 feet along a line parallel with
and distant Northerly 47.00 feet measured at
right angles, from the centerline of Bayside
Drive, 60 feet wide, as described in a deed to
• the County of Orange recorded June 11, 1936 in
Book 830, page 217 of Official Records, to the
true point of beginning; thence North 40 15'
25" East 224.83 feet at right anPes to said
centerline; thence North 820 11 311° West 330.00
feet.
Parcel 7
A strip of land 5.00 feet in width in Block 94
of Irvine's Subdivision as per map recorded in
Book 1, page 88 of Miscellaneous Record Maps in
the office of the County Recorder of said county,
described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the center-
line of Bayside Drive, 60 feet wide, as describ-
ed in a deed to the County of Orange recorded
June 11, 1936 in Book 830, page 217 of Official
Records, with the centerline of Jamboree Road
(formerly Marine Avenue) as described in said
deed and as said intersection is shown on a map of
Tract No. 1700 recorded in Book 52, pages 7 and
8 of Miscellaneous Maps; thence North 850 44'
35" West 176.06 feet along said centerline of
Bayside Drive; thence North 4° 15' 25" East 47.00
feet at right angles to said centerline to a
point on a line parallel with said centerline,
said point bein§ the true point of beginning;
thence North 85 44' 35" West 1418.59 feet along
said parallel line; thence North 4° 15' 25" East
5.00 feet; thence South 85° 44' 35" East 1435.50
feet, more or -less, to a point on a non - tangent
curve concave Northwesterly having a radius of
30.00 feet, said curve being tangent to said
parallel line at the true point of beginning;
thence Southwesterly and Westerly 18 feet,
more or less, along said curve to the true
point.of beginning.
SUBJECT TO easements and rights of .way of record or
apparent.
RESERVING UNTO GRANTOR, its successors and assigns,
the right to use said land for any purpose whatsoever as
shall not interfere with or endanger the use by Grantee
of said easement, including but not limited to the right
to construct, relocate, repair, maintain and use paved
parking areas, alleys and pipelines in, on, over, across
and along said land;
and
WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept
said Public Utility Easement for such purposes;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Public Utility
Easement is hereby accepted and the City Clerk is authorized and
directed to execute and attach thereto a certificate of acceptance
and consent to its recording and to record said document in the
County Recorder's office.
ADOPTED this 26th day of July 1965.
