2I A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH DESIGNATING INTERSECTIONS AT WHICH
3 VEHICLES ARE REQUIRED TO STOP

5 WHEREAS, Section 3251 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code
6 provides that whenever an ordinance or resolution designates and
7 describes an intersection at which vehicles are required to stop at
8 one or more entrances thereto, the city traffic engineer shall erect
9 stop signs and every driver of vehicles shall stop at such inter -
10 section; and
11 VR EREAS, certain intersections should be designated as
12 intersections where vehicles are required to stop at an entrance
13 thereto as hereinafter provided;
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
15 City of Newport Beach that the following intersections are hereby
16 designated as intersections where vehicles are required to stop at
17 an entrance thereto:
18 1. The intersection of Via Ithaca at Piazza Lido,
19
at the entrance for southwest bound traffic only.
2. The intersection of Via Jucar at Piazza Lido,
20 at the entrance for northeast bound traffic only.

Resolution No. 6230 was duly and regularly
adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council held at the
regular meeting place thereof, on the 27th day of September ,
1965 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Parsons, Marshall, Elder, Gruber, Cook,
Forgit, Stoddard.
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: None
