I RESOLUTION NO. 625W
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A
3 MULTIPLE LIABILITY INSURANCE POLICY
4 WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach did, on October 26,
5 1965, invite proposals for multiple liability insurance; and
6 WHEREAS, the submitted bids for such coverage were
7 reviewed by the City Council Insurance Committee on December 10,
g 1965; and
9 WHEREAS, said City Council Insurance Committee has
10 recommended that the proposal of the Insurance Company of North
11 America, presented through its broker, MacKay and Dicks, be
12 accepted as the lowest and best bid;
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the recommendations
14 of the City Council Insurance Committee are accepted and the City
15 Manager is authorized to purchase from the Insurance Company of
16 North America a three -year multiple liability insurance policy,
17 includipp, all the basic elements of coverage outlined in the
18 specifications and in accordance with the Council Insurance
19 Committee's recommendations.
20 ADOPTED this 13th day of December, 1965.
