2 A RESOLUTION OF.THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NZWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
3 ARTERIAL HIGHWAY FINANCING PROGRAM! PROJECT
ADMINISTRATION AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF
4 ORANGE FOR THE IMPROVEIVENT OF JAMBOREE ROAD
FROM PACIFIC COAST HIGHf7AY TO FORD ROAD

6 W1—ZREAS, the City Council by Resolution No. 6271
7 requested the County of Orange to allocate funds to aid the City
8 of Newport Beach during fiscal year 1966 -1967 in the improvement
9 of Jamboree Road from Pacific Coast Highway to Ford Road; and
10 WM, -TEAS, by said resolution the City agreed that its
11 share of the cost of improvements and rights of way would be avail -
12 able for the fiscal year 1966 -1967; and
13 VR EREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of
14 the City of Newport Beach a certain Arterial Highway Financing
15 Program Project Administration Agreement between the City of New -
16 port Beach and the County of Orange for the improvement of Jambo-
17 ree Road from Pacific Coast Highway to Ford Road, which said
18 agreement has been reviewed and found to be fair and equitable
19 and it is in the interest of the City to execute the same;
20 NOGG, T1- REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
21 the City of Newport Beach that said agreement be approved and
22 that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to exe-
23I cute the same on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
