1 RESOLUTION N0. 6383
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING AND SUBMITTING A BUDGET
3 FOR EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS ALLOCATED FROM THE
STATE HIGHWAY FUND TO CITIES

5 WHEREAS, a Master Agreement for the Budgeting and Expend -
6 iture of funds Allocated from the State Highway Fund to Cities has
7 been entered into by the City of Newport Beach, hereinafter
8 referred to as the city, and the State Department of Public Works,
9 Division of Highways, hereinafter referred to as the department;
10 and,
11 WHEREAS, the city council has prepared a budget proposal
12 and project statements showing estimated expenditures of such
13I funds recommended to be made during the 1966 -1967 fiscal year;
14
and,
15
WHEREAS, the city council has heard read said budget
16
proposal and project statements and is familiar with the contents
17
thereof;

THEREFORE, be it resolved by the city council of the City
19
of Newport Beach that said budget proposal and project statements
20
dated May 20, 1966 be and are hereby adopted as the budget of pro -
21
posed expenditures of the gas tax allocation to cities, said budget
22
proposal and project statements be and the same are hereby approvet
23
and the Public Works Director is directed to sign the same on
24
behalf of said City, and said budget proposal and project state -
25
ments to be submitted to the Department of Public Works, State of
26
California, in accordance with the provisions of Section 197 of
27
the Streets and Highways Code.
