`,R-M B AS, the City Council of - -he City of Newpor'. Beach
did, on the 28th day of November, 1966, pass its certair, Resolution_
of Intention No. 6463, declaring its intention to order the vaca-
tion, closing up and abandonment of a portion of a certain street
known as Ocean Front in the City of Newport Beach, hereinafter more
particularly described, pursuant to and in accordance witt. the
''Street Vacation Act of 1941", and all amendments thereto, 'Doing
Sections 833C two 8331, inclusive, of the Streets and ",iig_x"yays Code
of the State of Califon -nia; and
tat :3F?AS, the Street Superintendent of the City cf n7e -ypo
Beach has caused to be posted conspicuously along the line of tte
portion of said street proposed to be vacased, -no-- more than 30C
feet apart, and not less than three in all, notices of the vaca-
tion of said por -ion of said street, all of which will more fully
appear `rom the affil -evit of Joseph T. Leviin, street
of the City of Newport Beach, on file in tl.ese proceedings; arid.
MM-- EAS, said notices so posted by the Street Superin-
tenc:ent of the City of Neeaport Beach stated the passage of said
Resolution of Intention No. 6469 aforesaid, and the time and ?lace
of the hearing of all persons interested in or objecting to the
pxo ?osed vacation of said portion of said street; and
',417MRZAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
did set Tuesday, December 27, 19662 at 7:30 P. M. of said day as
the time, and the Council Clamber of the City Council of "tic C- =ty
of Newport Beach, located, the City Ball of the City of NeWport
Beach, as the place, for the hearing of all persons interested in
or objecting to the proposed vacation of said portion of said
street; and

T�EMEZAS, said Resolution of intention No. 6469 aforesaid

has been publisHed at least once in the Newport Harbor Ensign, '-he

official newspaper of the City, and said publication was made

more Shan 16 days prior to the date set fore the hearing of all

persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation, all
6
of which will more fully appear by the affidavit of Arvo E. :.aapa,

printer and Publisher of the Newport Harbor ensign, on file i...

these proceedings; and

has heard the evidence, both written and verbal, of all persons
11
interested in the vacation of said portion of said street_ in this

resolution more particularly hereinafter described, ant. finds from

all the evidence submitted that said portion of said street
14
described in said Resolution of intention, and hereinafter des-
15
cribed, is unnecessary for present or prospective public st —leet
16
purposes;

beach finds and determines and hereby orders -.-hat the following

described portion of that certain street knovin as Gcean F =ont in

the City of Plewport beach, to wit:

Avenue, adjoining block A, Seashore Colony Tract, as per
map recorded in book 7, Page 25, of Miscellaneous Kaps

in the office of the County Recorder of Grange County,
Cal_for.ia,described as follows:

beginning at the most southerly corner of Lo'_ 6, of said.
block A; thence northwesterly along the northeasterly

Lot 6; thence southwesterly along the southwesterly

prolongatic;a of the northwesterly line of said Lot 5 to
a line parallel with and distant 15.00 feet. southwes --_

line; thence southeasterly along said parallel line to

the southwesterly prolongation of the southeasterly line

The Ci` --y Council further finds and determines, and it is
hereby ordered, hat the public easement in the portion of said
street as heretofore described has, upon -he passage of tats
resolution, ceased.
The City Council further orders that the City Cler:c of
the City of Newport Beach shall cause a certified copy of this
Order, duly attested by her as the City Clerk, under the seal of
the City, to be recorded in the office of the County Rec-or-'er of
tl-ie County of Crange, S zate of California., iumediately fol ow'* ;
the passage of this resolution.

Resolution No. 6484 was duly and regularly adopted,
passed, and approved by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council held at the
regular meting place thereof, on the 27th day of December
1966, by the following vote, to wit:
