5 TRIEREAS, Section 12.36.010 of the Newport Beach Municipal
6 Code provides that whenever an ordinance or resolution designates
7 and describes an intersection at which vehicles are required to
8 stop at one or more entrances thereto, the City Traffic Engineer
9 shall erect stop signs at those entrances of such intersection wherei
10 a stop is required and every driver of a vehicle shall stop at such
11 intersection; and

12 WHEREAS, certain intersections should be designated as
i
13 intersections where vehicles are required to stop at one or more
14 entrances thereto as hereinafter provided,
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
16 the City of Newport Beach that the following described intersections)
17 are hereby designated as intersections where vehicles are required
18 to stop at one or more entrances thereto:

19 1. The intersections of Aleppo Street, Arbutus Street;
Bellis Street and Carob Street at Alta Vista Drive,
20 at each entrance to Alta Vista Drive,

21 2. The intersections of Antigua Way, Commodore Road,
Deborah Lane, Dorothy Lane and Highland Drive at
22 Mariners Drive, at each entrance to Mariners Drive.
23 3. The intersection of Mariners Drive at Galaxy Drive,
at each entrance to Galaxy Drive,

4. The intersection of Mariners Drive at Santiago
26 Drive, at each entrance to Santiago Drive.

27 ADOPTED this 9th day of January, 1967.

Resolution No. 6505 was duly and regularly adopted,
passed, and approved by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council held at the
regular meting place thereof, on the 9th day of January ,
