RESOLUTION N0. 6511
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A
GRANT DEED
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach is the owner of all
'that certain land situated in the State of California, County of
Orange, City of Newport Beach, described as follows:
A portion of Section 35, Township 6 South, Range 10 West,
S. B. B. & M. and a portion of Section 2, Township 7 South,
Range 10 West, S. B. B. & M. more particularly described
as follows•
Beginning at the Southwesterly corner of Lot 8 in Block 22
of Eastside Addition to Balboa Tract, as shown on a Map
recorded in Book 4, page-20 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of Orange County, California; thence South 700 104 0041
East along the Southwesterly line 3.78,feet to the true
point of beginning of this description; thence continue
South 70° 101 0094 East along the Southeasterly prolongation
of the Southwesterly line of said Lot 8, a distance of 26.22
feet to an intersection with the Southwesterly prolongation
of the Easterly line of the West 30 feet of said Lot 8;
thence North 19° 504 0091 East along said Easterly line, a
distance of 9.46 feet to the Southerly line of said Lot 8;
thence West along the said Southerly line, a distance of
27.87 feet to the true point of beginning of this descriptic
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore authorized the
sale of said property to John A. Blaich, the owner of adjoining
,property to the north; and
WHEREAS, in order to complete the sale of the property,
it is necessary to execute and deliver a grant deed conveying the
property to the purchaser;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk are authorized and directed to execute a grant deed on
behalf of the City of Newport Beach conveying the above described
property to John A. Blaich.

do hereby certify that according to the records of the City of Newport Beach
filed and maintained in my office, the foregoing Resolution No. 6511 was
duly and regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council
held at the regular meeting place thereof, on the 14th day of February , 1967,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Rogers, Parsons, Marshall, Gruber, Cook,
Forgit, Shelton
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None

None
