RESOLUTION NO. 6541
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING.A CONTRACT_FOR THE.
PURCHASE OF PARKINd_METERS (CONTRACT NO.. 1103)
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for the
5 purchase of parking meters in the City of Newport Beach in
6 accordance with specifications heretofore adopted, bids were
7 received on the 7th day of March, 1967, and publicly opened and
8 declared; and
9 WHEREAS, it appears that Duncan Parking Meter Corpor-
10 ation is the lowest responsible bidder therefor;
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of Duncan
12 Parking Meter Corporation in the amount of $25,414.69 be accepted
13 and that the contract for the purchase of parking meters be
14 awarded to said bidder.
15 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
16 are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
17 accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
18 of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
19 to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
20 ADOPTED this Z7th day of March 1967.

do hereby certify that according to the records of the City of Newport Beach
filed and maintained in my office, the foregoing Resolution No. 6541 was
duly and regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council
held at the regular meeting place thereof, on the 27th day of March 1967,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Rogers, Parsons, Marshall,
Cook, Forgit, Shelton
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: Gruber
